The Opportunity

We closed our latest round of funding from Boeing Horizon X and top-tier VCs, and now need to scale our Sales team to keep up with demand. We’re looking for the next class of highly motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help us continue to move up market and become the default in a competitive market.

As an SDR, you are the first point of contact for new potential customers. You’ll help educate potential customers while removing roadblocks for them to bring drones into their organization, while creating a steady pipeline of business to arm the Sales team.

There’s no script, no one-size-fits-all solution. There are no territories. You’re fully empowered to solve problems, create solutions, and help potential customers create high-ROI drone programs.

The Team

Kittyhawk’s Business team is a tight-knit team with diverse backgrounds--we’re seasoned sales-people, growth hackers, and even some former aviators. We’re charged with kicking off conversations with qualified leads and working with companies of all kinds, from solo drone photographers to firefighters, law enforcement folks and power companies, to help them successfully use drones to improve their businesses.

You'll be working closely with key stakeholders in Fortune 500 companies, including exciting critical infrastructure industries like Oil & Gas, Engineering, Rail and Utilities to help them launch and scale their commercial drone operations. We're looking for people that are interested in building not just a company, but an industry.

Your Impact

To be successful in this role, you will be seeking out future customers while managing inbound pipeline as the first point of contact in developing new relationships. You’ll be working closely with colleagues from sales, product, and engineering teams on customer feedback, feature requests and priorities. The goal here is to help evolve a market-leading product into the industry-defining solution.

Kittyhawk is hiring for multiple sales roles who can help us field all of our awesome inbound leads, who can build and grow an outbound sales pipeline, and who can foster those leads (in both an SDR and Sales Engineer role).

Requirements

Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to understand customer needs and clarify how the Kittyhawk platform fills those needs - Solution Selling

Relevant experience in B2B sales. Success navigating large organizations and ability to quickly identify the decision makers and the decision-making process - cultivating that champion and coach. Prior experience with CRM tools and leading sales methodologies to manage sales pipeline required. Ability to work in a fast paced, fast growing team environment. BS/BA and a MINIMUM of 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a SaaS or Software entity. Effective time management with strong organizational skills. Ability to work on flexible schedule; available to travel as necessary. Legal to work in the US.

Kittyhawk is looking for its first product design hire who will be responsible for designing the future of our mobile and desktop apps. Our team is lean and motivated to take the drone market by storm. We're looking for people that are interested in building a company and an industry. Your role as a Product Designer

You’ll work closely with the founders and engineering team on product direction and helping define the future of our iOS, Android and web applications. This includes defining and deeply understand the problems we need to solve, sketching/wireframing, creating user flows, user testing, visual design, and product writing the clearly communicates your design decisions.

Your role will range from crafting an iconic brand, through producing the most beautiful enterprise and flight experiences ever created, to researching new features and conceiving new products. You will push both web and mobile to their limits.

As Kittyhawk scales, you will build and direct your own design team.

With each new customer Kittyhawk adds, we receive more and more feature requests. We're looking to wildly expand our offerings in terms of mapping and image processing. Our native drone integrations are gathering far more data than ever before. We want to be able to process and deliver value on this data both in the app and on the website.

Requirements

You're an expert with building highly scalable cloud solutions to stitch, overlay, and measure things from photographic data sets. Kittyhawk spans across multiple verticals so attacking one single use case could have huge adoption inside of our platform.

Nice to have

Experience writing API's to deliver and consume this data. We want to expose all of the value to our customers via the apps and web interface as well as create clever ways for them to import/use this data elsewhere. To accomplish these audacious goals, you probably have some experience with Tensor Flow and other AI / Machine Learning platforms.
